Pre evaluation of radiation protection against occupational hazards in construction projects

1. Project introduction

According to the law of the people's Republic of China on the prevention and control of occupational diseases, the provisions on the administration of radiation diagnosis and treatment and other laws and regulations: "if new, expanded and reconstructed construction projects, technological transformation and technology introduction projects may produce occupational disease hazards, the construction unit shall submit the pre evaluation report of occupational disease hazards to the administrative department of health at the stage of feasibility demonstration." The purpose of pre evaluation is to conduct predictive analysis and evaluation on the possible radiation hazard factors and radiation intensity of the construction project, the protective measures to be taken, and the possible exposure and health impact of the staff, so as to demonstrate the feasibility of the construction project and provide basis for the pre evaluation audit of the health administrative department.


2. Scope of services

Radiology diagnosis and treatment: digital subtraction angiography (DSA), X-ray electronic machine, computed tomography (CT), digital X-ray photography (DR), computer X-ray photography (CR), breast machine, dental machine, gastrointestinal machine, mobile X-ray machine, etc.


3. Time of issuing Report

From the date of data collection:

For construction projects with general occupational hazards, a report can be issued within 15 working days.

For construction projects with serious occupational disease hazards, a report can be issued within 30 working days.


4. Confidentiality commitment

The evaluation report is only provided to the entrusting party and the competent health department, and will not be disclosed to any third party without the consent of the entrusting party, nor will it be used as publicity materials.
